![]() Alt scope tends to want the same on-hit and attack speed items as a lot of other characters, where the big payoff items on default scope are only shared with a few others. I prefer default scope over the alternate one, but that’s mostly because I play largely multiplayer with friends and we tend to try and select complimentary builds. As this build also benefits un-scoped1, focus crystal will help it clear the heard in a pinch Random bonus : Focus crystal seems counter intuitive for a sniper, but when scoping things WILL get up on you at Time. Harvester Scythe and Predatory Instincts serve well on M2 builds for rapid healing, and reliable attack speed boost if you can consistently hit your crit zones Obviously Aeo items are a good time, but you can also benefit from bleeds amd teh boss item that makes bleeders explode. ![]() If I have Lunar coins I'll grab Strides of Heresy for mobility and healing over mines. You don't have the reload boost to abuse the damage amp for the Piercong kill, so the crowd control and execute range (mad zero down time) helps wipe out elites/groups and keeping you dealing damage. I still use regular mines for mobility and scattering mobsįreeze ult when using alt M2. Both M1, and M2 have a 1.0 proc coefficient, so triggering effects is easy, and gives the utility of using un-scoped M1 effectively in a pinch. Go for decent attack speed to ping crit spots and hit groups quickly(bonus enough speed and you can use un-scoped M1 for mobility) That said, I personally love the alternative M2. ![]() I will Voucher that OG M2, with practice is superior, and gets the big "1 hit 1 kill" style, and Feel great when you nail it. If someone says the alternate utility I’m out.) (I’m not even gonna ask about which utility you guys prefer. And if you miss the weak point it’s not as punishing. Since I’ve been running on eclipse lately, I go for cryocharge because it is huge in the mithrix fight. But the sheer damage of the default one is not to be underestimated. Having that execute is amazing for some of the tanky enemies (including mithrix!) and no “recharge” period is nice as well. I often use both, but recently I’ve been leaning towards the alt one too. Plus with a crowbar or two you are still basically one shotting every weaker enemy. My aim is ok, I’d say I hit roughly 70% of shots (on the weak point) but missing is much less punishing, and being able to hold fire on chunkier targets feels very nice. I enjoy both but I’ve recently been using the alternate one more and it feels a lot more reliable, at least for me. I’m mostly curious to see which m2 people prefer.
